Answer explanation

To answer this assignment you need to pass the tax rate as a double type parameter to the method getNetSalary.
By doing so, you can calculate the net salary for every tax rates. In our example we pass the following tax rates to the method, 0.20, 0.25 & 0.40.

Try to pass other tax rates of your choice and execute the program to see the result!

  1. for taxRate 0.20 the net salary = 2560
  2. for taxRate 0.25 the net salary = 2400
  3. for taxRate 0.40 the net salry = 1920

public class Mc
{
  public double getNetS(double taxRate)
  {
    double tax = 3200 * taxRate;
    double netSalary = 3200 - tax;
    return netSalary;
  }
  public static void main(String[] args)
  {
    Mc m = new Mc();
    System.out.println(m.getNetS(0.20));
    System.out.println(m.getNetS(0.25));
    System.out.println(m.getNetS(0.40));
  }
}

This program writes the following to the standard output if it is compiled and run.
2560.0
2400.0
1920.0
